Both our boys started Karate today! Jack, who is a Little Dragon (ages 5-8), was very apprehensive and still says he only wants to try it for 2 mos. He sat on the "sidelines" with me for the 1st half. But, he is counting in Japanese and practicing his best,"Hi-ya!" after only one day. Jake, a Tiny Tiger (ages 2-4), was just the opposite. He jumped right in and listened to everything Sensei said. The Tigers practiced using a bo today! Jake did awesome and learned how to block his head and his belly. :)
Both boys are excited for their next class on Monday!
